Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question? You will probably find the answer here. If not, do not hesitate to reach out — I am always happy to chat.
How do I schedule a service?
Simply call, text, or email me to set up a free meet and greet. During the meet and greet we will discuss your needs, and from there we can schedule your first service.
What will the meet and greet include?
The meet and greet is a chance for me to meet you and your pets in your home. I will assess your pet's temperament, learn about their routine, and answer any questions you have. It is completely free and there is no obligation.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept credit cards through the PetPocketbook portal, as well as cash, Venmo, Zelle, and Apple Pay.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% is due 3 days before your scheduled service.
What areas do you serve?
I currently serve the Waterset community. If you are in a nearby area and are not sure if I cover your location, feel free to reach out and ask.
Do you take care of cats too?
Absolutely! I care for both cats and dogs. Whether your kitty needs feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, or just some companionship while you are away, I have got you covered.
What if my pet has special needs or needs medication?
I am happy to accommodate pets with special needs. During our meet and greet, we will go over any medications, dietary requirements, or other special instructions so I am fully prepared to care for your pet.
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes, I carry full liability insurance and bonding. I am also Red Cross Pet First Aid Certified. Your home and your pets are fully protected when you trust them to my care.
What happens in case of an emergency?
Your pet's safety is my top priority. I am Red Cross Pet First Aid Certified and always have your vet's contact information on file. In the event of an emergency, I will contact you immediately and take your pet to the nearest veterinary clinic if needed.
Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?
I understand that plans change. I ask for a minimum of 3 days notice if you need to cancel or reschedule so I may be able to help or assist other clients.
Do you offer services on holidays and weekends?
Yes! Holidays and weekends are some of the busiest times for pet sitting. I recommend booking early for holidays and summer break to make sure I can accommodate your schedule.
Will I receive updates while I am away?
Absolutely! I send photo updates during every visit so you can see exactly how your pet is doing. You will never have to wonder — I want you to feel at ease while you are away.
Do you charge extra for multiple pets in the same household?
My pricing is per visit, not per pet, so multiple pets in the same household are covered under the same rate. For homes with several pets, I recommend the 60-Minute Break or longer services to make sure everyone gets plenty of attention.
